Perham Beats Barnesville 10-0, Twice

The Perham baseball team recorded a pair of 10-0 shutout wins over the Barnesville Trojans on Thursday in a Heart O’ Lakes Conference double header.  Alex Blume (5IP, 5H, 0R, 3BB, 12K) was the winning pitcher in the opener, while Ashton Detloff (5IP, 1H, 0R, 0BB, 7K) was effective on the mound in the nightcap, allowing only one hit, walking none and striking out 7 in a complete game effort.

 

 

Leaders for Perham in the first game were Blaiz Schmidt (2-4, SB, 4RBI, R), Bradyn Anderson (2-3, 3RBI, R), Gavin Griffin (2-3, 2B, SB, RBI, 3R), Gage Aanenson (1-1, BB, 2SB, RBI, R), and Blume (1-3, 2R, BB).

Asher O’Brien was 3-for-3 to lead the Trojans with a pair of singles and a double.

In game two, Perham was led by Blume (2-3, 2-2B, 2RBI, 2R, BB), Griffin (1-3, 2B, RBI, 2R), Aanenson (1-2, RBI, 2R, BB, SB), Anderson (1-1, 3RBI) and Schmidt (1-2, RBI, R).  O’Brien had the only Barnesville hit, a single, in the contest.
