Parkers Prairie downed Upsala/Swanville Area 9-1 in a varsity baseball game on Thursday. Dylan Debilzen tossed 5 strong innings, giving up no earned run, 6 hits, walking 2 and striking out 3. Seth Sansness was in for the final two innings of relief and struck out two batters while giving up a pair of hits.
David Revering and Cohen Noska both had a pair of hits and Ben Wagner had 3 RBI. “Heads up base running by Mason Boesl and the Panthers were keys offensively,” noted Coach Derek Denny. “Defensively, Noska earned a star for his defense at third base, Zach Mrnak a star for a pick at first base, and Isaac Grabow a star for a catch in right field.”
The Panther JV team won a pair of games, 9-7 and 8-0 and the junior high team remained undefeated at home with a pair of walk-off thrillers.
Parkers Prairie will face New York Mills on Friday.
