The Fergus Falls softball team swept a Central Lakes Conference double header from Willmar on Thursday, taking game one 17-4 and winning game two, 15-3. Rylynn Krein dominated the circle in the first game with 11 strikeouts and no walks, and stuck out 6, while walking one in game two. Karyssa Eberle closed out game two, striking out two batters and walking none.
The Otters collected 12 hits in the first game with Maddie Budke, Krein and Alyssa Adams each getting two hits. Carlana Zetah had a huge double, scoring three runs.
Fergus Falls kept their bats alive in the second game as Budke, Krein and Adams again had two hits each. Sophia Lee and Krein each drove in three runs. McKenzie Sjolie threw out Willmar’s only attempt at a stolen base.
