Brandon-Evansville dropped a pair of softball games on Wednesday, losing 11-1 to the Swanville Bulldogs and 12-2 to the Upsala Cardinals.  “We faced two really tough teams today,” stated B-E Head Coach Kasi Sieling. “In both games we gave them too many free bases and made mistakes that they took advantage of. Offensively, we did a better job putting the ball in play against Upsala, but in both games we struggled to string hits together and bring runners in.”

The Chargers managed only 4 singles in the game with Swanville as Claire Boesl, Kylee Dingwall, Tahira Schaffran and Hallie Richter had one apiece.  Mia Elmer drove in Madeline Stich for their only run.  Richter and Elmer each stole a base.

Boesl (2-3, SB, R) and Ava Santjer (2-3, RBI) led the six-hit attack in game two with Kylee Dingwall adding a run-scoring double and Stich contributing a base hit.  Santjer also had a couple of stolen bases.  Dingwall struck out 11 batters in her 5 2/3 innings in the circle.
