Border West won both ends of their baseball double header with Hancock on Tuesday.  The Buccaneers were 9-3 winners in the first game and took game two, 12-1.  Five Hancock errors led to 4 unearned runs in the first game and winning pitcher Brayden Andrews went 6 innings, striking out 5 and allowing just one earned run.

Kevin Casper (1-4, 2B, 2RBI, R), Marshall Tolifson (1-2, RBI, 2R, BB, SB), Jacob Drewicke (2-3, R, SB), Ripley Holtz (1-4, RBI, R, SB) and Jacob Volker (1-2, R, SB) led the offensive effort in game one for the Bucs.  An 8-run sixth inning broke a 1-1 tie and carried the Bucs to the win.

Leaders for Hancock in the opener were Ambrose Rinkenberger (1-3, RBI, BB, SB), Hudson Ver Steeg (RBI, BB, SF), Donovan Curfman (1-3, RBI, SB) and Sebastian Salas (2-3).

Border West took control early in game two, scoring 4 times in the first inning and adding a single run in the second.  They made it 8-0 with 3 more in the fifth and tacked on 4 in the sixth to give starting pitcher Kevin Casper all the support he needed.  Marshall Tolifson struck out 5 batters in 3 innings of relief.  Hitting leaders were Brody Nachbor (4-4, 3RBI, 3R, 2B, SB), Volker (2-2, 2RBI), Casper (2-3, 3B, RBI, 2R), Andrews (1-4, 2RBI) and Tolifson (1-4, 2R, 2SB).

Rinkenberger (2B), Ver Steeg and Curfman each had two hits for the Owls.
