The M State baseball team lost a pair of road games to Ridgewater College in Willmar on Saturday, falling 7-0 and 4-2.  The two teams will play another double header on Sunday, this time in Fergus Falls.  The first game is scheduled to get underway at 1:00pm.

Ridgewater pitcher Sam Etterman (4-1) held M State to just 3 hits in the opener.  He went all seven innings, striking out five and walking none.  Tanner Olson (3-3, HR, 2RBI, 2R), Max Athmann (2-3, 2B, 2R), Etterman (1-3, 2B, 2RBI) and Brady Perleberg (2-3, RBI, R) led the Warriors at the plate.

Ben Monson, Logan Pulju and Bryce Kruger had the Spartan hits.  Dalton Heater pitched 2 shutout innings of relief.

In the second game, singles by Eoghan Fisher and Evan Lunde were the only two hits the Spartans could muster against winning pitcher Ethan Bulthuis (7IP, 2H, 2R, 1ER, 3BB, 4K).  Etterman (0-2, BB, SF, RBI, R), Caden Lang (1-2, 2BB, RBI, R), Athmann (SF, RBI) and Tanner Olson (1-3, BB, RBI) drove in runs for the Warriors.  Nolan Eischens went 2-for-4 at the plate.
