Fergus Falls Adapted Bowling Competes in Moorhead

 Friday morning, the Otter Adapted Bowling team traveled to Moorhead to take on the Spuds.

In ASD singles, Kyler Smith from Moorhead took 1st with a score of 407. 9th grader James Merz came in 2nd for the Otters with a score of 402. Senior Zade Carlson came in 3rd with a score of 397. Otters Jacob Bergstrand and Nate Graham came in 5th and 7th.

ASD Doubles, the Otters team of James Merz and Jacob Bergstrand took 1st with a score of 820. Zade Carlson and Nate Graham followed right behind with a score of 813. Moorhead was 3rd and 4th with scores of 775 and 741.



In the CI division singles, Senior Tariq Billings took 1st for the Otters with a score of 481. Zack Rinowski for Moorhead was 2nd with a score of 448. Otters took 3rd through 6th place with 8th grader Tucker Kugler placing 3rd for the Otters with 409. 11th grader Evan Kugler was 4th with 396, 10th grader Ian Iverson was 5th with 391 and 9th grader Joe Polejewski was 6th with 362.

In CI doubles, Otters took 1st and 2nd with Tariq Billings and Evan Kugler teaming up for a score of 858. Ian Iverson and Joe Polejewski took 2nd with 803.

"This was a great warm up for state qualifiers coming up in 2 weeks, the kids are starting to peak at the right time and ready to make what is hopefully a return to State," says Coach Scott Meldahl.
