The Fergus Falls softball team hosted a pair of games at DeLagoon Park on Friday, losing a 2-1 nail biter to Little Falls and then coming out strong against Detroit Lakes, gaining a 10-0 win.  “We did a great job putting the bat on the ball against Little Falls, but struggled to string hits together,” said Head Coach Devonie Smith.  “Against DL our bats came to life once again, but this time we were able to put everything together.”

Little Falls was able to break a 1-1 tie with a run in the top of the seventh inning.  Rylynn Krein had a strong performance on the mound, recording 12 strikeouts and walking none.  She also led the attack, going 2-for-4 at the plate.

Madi Budke went 2-for-3 against DL, stealing 4 bases in the game.  Karyssa Eberle did a great job on the mound with 9 strikeouts and no walks.  “Our defense did a great job backing up our pitcher as we only had one error,” said Coach Smith.
