The 2023 high school baseball season was another in a long line of successful years on the diamond for Head Coach Derek Denny of the Parkers Prairie Panthers.  Denny’s team went 19-7 and finished as runners-up in Section 6A.  Denny is in his 16th season at the helm.  He will be assisted by Drew Johnson and Hunter Haggenmiller (pitching) at the varsity level, while Brady Yrjo will work with the JV.  Jim Duberowski and Levi Arnold (Junior High) are also part of the staff.

Returning letter winners include seniors Dylan Debilzen (P, OF), Isaac Grabow (C, OF), Kayden Leininger (3B), Zach Mrnak (1B), Cohen Noska (P, IF), David Revering (C, P, IF), Seth Sansness (P) and Holden Truax (P, OF), and juniors Mason Boesl (IF), Shane Hanson (P, C, OF), Joe Johnson (1B) and Nolan Steidl (P, IF).

“We expect leadership from every guy on our roster,” said Coach Denny.  “We are very fortunate that we have a great group of seniors that lead on and off the field, and model for our underclassmen.  Our depth of pitching will be one of our strengths, especially as we enter post season play.  Defensively, we should be very sound as well.”
