Sophomore guard Kale Misegades of the Henning boys’ basketball team has been named the Park Region Conference Most Valuable Player for the 2023-24 season. Misegades, a 3-time All-Conference selection, led the PRC with 25.3 points per game, 5.1 assists per game, a 46% success rate on 3-point shots and a free throw percentage of 89%. He was second in the conference with 3.1 steals per game and ranked fourth in overall field goal percentage at 57%. His 6.3 rebounds per game placed him eleventh.
Other members of the 14-0 conference champs to make the All-Conference squad include senior forward Lane Dilly (2nd year all-conference selection, 9ppg, 9.4rpg, 3.6apg, 2.1spg), who led the conference in field goal percentage at 61%; junior guard Teigan Bjerke (13.8ppg, 4.7rpg, 4.4apg); junior guard Logan Kostelecky (10.2ppg, 5.7rpg, 49%FG, 88%FT, 46%-3’s); and junior guard Noah Umland (Honorable Mention selection, 12.5ppg, 54%FG, 42%-3’s).
