The Hillcrest Boys’ Basketball team finished their Little 8 Conference season with a 15-1 record and the LEC title. Head Coach Ryan Garvin of the Comets was selected as the Conference Coach of the Year, and Luke Christensen of Hillcrest shared the Conference MVP award with Micah Fuller of Brandon-Evansville. Christensen was joined by teammate Noah Brumfield on the All-Conference team, and Tanner Riedel and Riley Perleberg of the Chargers were 2nd Team All-Conference choices.
Other 1st Team All-Conference Team members include Drew Evavold of Underwood, Jack Mekalson and Mason Dalluge of Battle Lake, Holden Rinke of Border West, Hudson Ver Steeg of Hancock, Easton Nelson of Ashby and Dylan Debilzen of Parkers Prairie.
Named to the second team were Hudson Risbrudt of Underwood, Braxtyn Cameron of Battle Lake, Kyle Kremer of Border West, Chase Evink of Hancock, Jake Norby and Kellen Dahlen of Ashby, Cohen Noska of Parkers Prairie and Matthew Danielson of Rothsay.
