Liz Lukken (29 points, 4 assists) and Kallyn Grove (17 points, 9 rebounds, 11 blocks, 4 assists) were dominant on Wednesday night as the Underwood Rockets jumped out to an 11-2 lead over Park Christian, increased their lead to 36-22 at the half, led by as many as 28 in the second half and handed the Falcons a 68-43 defeat to claim the North sub-section 6A championship at 'The Hive' in Perham.

Trinity Baker (12 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists), Ezrah Baker (7 points, 12 rebounds, 3 assists) and Mily Albjerg (11 rebounds) joined Grove as leaders on the boards as Underwood held a 47-26 advantage in rebounding.

"We got off to a quick start offensively vs. their zone by hitting on 3 pointers on our first 3 possessions," reported Head Coach Brian Hovland of the Rockets.  "I thought we shot the ball well and made really good decisions.  We did a very good job defensively and rebounding vs. a very good team.  Super proud of this team."

The Rockets (26-3) will now face Hancock for the Section 6A title for a third straight year.  Hancock advanced with a 72-70 overtime win over Breckenridge at Minnewaska Area High School in Glenwood.

The game will be a 7:00pm tip-off on Friday night at the Otter Fieldhouse at the Roosevelt Gym in Fergus Falls.
