The West Central Area Knights defeated the Border West Bucs 69-57 on Friday night in Wheaton. The Knights placed four players in double figures again. Cam Anderson had 22 points, 5 assists, 4 steals, and 3 rebounds; Bryce Kjesbo had 15 points, 3 rebounds, and 3 assists; Ben Bye had a double double with 13 points and 10 rebounds; and Mitch Dewey had 10 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 steals. Nasir Dotts led the team with 8 assists and added 3 rebounds, and 4 steals. Marshall Dewey added 5 points, 1 rebound, 1 assist, and 1 steal and Sam Hanson had 4 points, 3 rebounds, 3 steals and an assist.
Scoring for Border West were Kyle Kramer with 19 points, Holden RInke 17, Nolan Wilson 10, Jack Siegal 7, Tayton Schmidt 2 and Brayden Andrews 2.
The Knights finish the regular season 23-3 and will be the #1 seed in the Section 6A South Sub-section. Their opponent is yet to be determined. Border West finishes the regular season 11-15.
