Abby John poured in 30 points on Thursday night, leading the Barnesville lady Trojans to a 71-45 victory over the Crookston Pirates in the Section 8AA girls' basketball playoffs. Ava Follingstad joined John in double digits with 14 points.
Chloe Boll led the Pirates with 15 points. Katelyn Christensen and Isabelle Smith added 11 points apiece.
Barnesville will host East Grand Forks at 7:00pm Saturday.
