M State sophomore point guard Mikele Kambalo was named to the MCAC All-Conference team and All-MCAC Southern Division team. Kambalo averaged 15.1 points per game, was second the Southern Division with an average of 3.7 assist per game, had 5 rebounds per game, and led the Division with a 46% 3-point average. He also shot 78% on free throws.
Brian LaPlante of Rochester was named the Southern Division Coach of the Year and sophomore forward Savier McCall of Riverland was selected as Southern Division Player of the Year.
Bill Engel of Minnesota North College-Rainy River was named Northern Division Coach of the Year, while sophomore guard Quamar Gresham of Central Lakes was chosen as Northern Division Player of the Year.
