"Great start tonight to open up the playoffs,” said Head Coach Hunter Haggenmiller of the Panthers. “Our bench brought some energy for our girls on the defensive end of the floor and our offense took it from there. We had some big contributions from our two seniors, Hope Koep, and Joey McKeown, that allowed our offense to flow the way it did. They were able to get a victory in their last game on their home court, which was great for them. We now have a few days to prepare for a good Breckenridge team on Thursday."
Evy Grinager led Parkers Prairie with 28 points.
BrookeLinn Finkelson led Ashby with 22 points.
Parkers Prairie will travel to Breckenridge to take on the #2 seed Cowgirls on Thursday, February 29.
