Park Christian hosted Rothsay in a non-conference girls’ basketball contest on Thursday night in Moorhead. The Falcons led 36-18 at the half and held on for a 61-49 victory over the Tigers. Rothsay completes the season with a 13-13 overall record and an 8-10 Little Eight Conference mark.
“We struggled to knock down shots early and dug ourselves a big hole,” reported Rothsay Head Coach Anita Heier. “We were down 24 in the second half but our girls didn’t give up. I was proud of our girls for continuing to fight as we executed much better late in the game to get back within 8. It was a fun finish against a very good Park Christian team.”
Savannah Sullivan led the Tigers with 23 points, while McKenzie Tillman and Elli Meyer had 8 points each. Mia Rivers added 7 points.
