Willow Thiel produced 30 points and Kennedy Pilgrim joined her in double digits with 13 on Tuesday night as the Perham girls’ basketball team won their Senior Night Contest 71-42 over Thief River Falls at ‘The Hive’. Avah Waldal led the Prowlers with 16 points and Josie Peterson had 9.
“In our final regular season home game, the girls’ came out and did what they needed to do to win,” reported Head Coach TJ Super of the Yellowjackets.”It wasn’t pretty. 23 fouls were called on the Yellowjackets, but a lot of girls stepped up when needed. Most importantly, the seniors were honored and there was a large crowd on hand to watch the Jackets go to 22-3.”
Perham will close out their regular season schedule at Duluth Marshall on Friday.
