The West Central Area Knights improved their record to 20-3 with an 88-57 win over the Benson Braves on Tuesday night. The Knights jumped out to a 15-2 lead and after a small run by the Braves, the Knights never looked back. They increased their lead to 46-27 at the half on their way to the win.

"Good job by our players tonight, " said Knights Coach Kraig Hunter. "They've been improving on the things we're stressing in practice. The ball was moving tonight with a lot of assisted baskets again tonight."

Camden Anderson and Nasir Dotts were the leaders in the assist category as Anderson dished out 12 and Dotts 7. "Pretty good night by our two point guards," said Coach Hunter.

Anderson completed a double double  adding 11 points to his 12 assists. Others scoring for the Knights were Bryce Kjesbo with 22 points, Ben Bye with 21 points, Mitch Dewey with 19 points, Sam Hanson 6 points, Dane Anderson 5 points, Owen Sanstead 2 points, and Carter Kjesbo 2 points.

Rebound totals were unavailable at this time.

Hunter added, "Sam Hanson sparked us with a steal, a basket, an offensive rebound or an assist every time he came into the game and started us on many runs. We got good bench minutes from Sam as well as Dane Anderson, Owen Sanstead and Marshall Dewey."

The Knights 20-3 will travel to BOLD on Friday night
