The Battle Lake girls’ basketball team suffered a 69-59 Little Eight Conference loss in Graceville on Tuesday night.  CGB got off to a fast start and by halftime they held a 38-19 lead over the Battlers.  “In the second half we did a better job defensively and cut the lead to 10 points, but the Wolverines fought back and quickly extended their lead to 20,” said Battle Lake Head Coach David Marso.  “We made a small run at the end, but just couldn’t close the gap.”
