Underwood shot the ball well on Friday night, making 51% of their overall field goal attempts and connecting on 12-of-28 (43%) from deep as they took a 45-20 halftime lead over Brandon-Evansville and went on to win the Little Eight Conference boys’ basketball battle by a score of 84-40. The Rockets had 18 assists and only 10 turnovers on the night.
“This was our most complete game on the defensive side yet,” commented Underwood Head Coach Kellen Shebeck. “We had 26 deflections which led to 17 steals and limited ourselves to just 10 turnover again, which has been a huge key to our recent success.”
