The Clinton-Graceville-Beardsley Wolverines traveled to Parkers Prairie Thursday night for a Little Eight Conference Matchup. The game was tight the entire time, as the Panthers held a slim 32-28 halftime lead. Two Evy Grinager free throws with under 30 seconds left forced overtime with teams tied at 57. One extra frame was not enough, as teams went to double overtime, with CGB sneaking away with a 75-73 after a shot to win the game from Parkers Prairie didn't find its way into the basket.

"Fun game to be a part of tonight," shared Panthers Head Coach Hunter Haggenmiller. "Our crowd brought energy all night; unfortunately, we were unable to seal the deal in overtime. We played extremely hard, short on energy and numbers again. Plenty to be proud of from this group, they are more than ready to break through. We have a few days to get some rest and look to recharge for our 6 games in the final two weeks."

Evy Grinager led the Panthers with 27, she was followed by Hope Koep with 11.

Emily Kellen led the Wolverines with 33.

The Panthers will end their 8-game home stand with a conference game against the Ashby Arrows on Monday.

CGB (9-13) has a non-conference contest at West Central Area on Monday.
