Henning had another good shooting night, making 53% (28-52) of their field goal attempts, including 52% (11-21) from 3-point range, in a 72-60 victory over Wadena-Deer Creek on Tuesday night in Wadena.

Kale Misegades (31 points, 5 assists, 6 rebounds, 2 blocks), Teigan Bjerke (13 points, 6 assists, 5 rebounds), Noah Umland (10 points, 4 assists) and Lane Dilly (10 points, 5 rebounds) were all in double figures.  Logan Kostelecky finished with 8 points and 6 rebounds.

“Big conference win on the road tonight,” noted Henning Head Coach Randy Misegades. “WDC is a quality team and was just a game behind us in the PRC standings coming into the night. Their only loss was to us on January 4. And they were also coming off a huge win at Barnesville last Friday. The Wolverines are experienced, physical, athletic, and capable of making shots. Our guys answered the bell tonight. We got contributions from a lot of people tonight which is what it takes to beat quality teams.”

Wadena-Deer Creek was led by Teshe Loer (17 points, 5 rebounds), Peyton Church (17 points, 5 rebounds) and Nathaniel Peterson (10 points, 3 rebounds).  Kobe Snyder had 6t points, 5 assists, 7 rebounds and 3 steals.

Wadena-Deer Creek (13-5) will play at Pillager on Thursday and will host Crookston on Friday.

Henning (18-2) has recorded 11 straight wins.  They will play at New York Mills on Thursday.
