Pelican Rapids ran their winning streak to 7 games as they improved their season record to 18-2 with a 55-49 victory over the Frazee Hornets on Thursday night. The Vikings have won the first 3 games of their 7 game road trip and will now face top-ten ranked Sauk Centre at 10:30am Saturday at the Alexandria High School.
It was the usual suspects leading the Vikings on Thursday as Morgan Korf delivered 29 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists and 4 steals, and Ellie Welch turned in another double-double with 13 points and 13 rebounds. She also had 4 steals and 3 assists. Claudia Gurath added 6 boards.
Frazee (8-8) has a home game with Menahga on Tuesday night.
