Worthington High School hosted the ten team 2024 True Team Gymnastics Meet on Saturday with Monticello posting the winning score of 177.9750. Melrose Area was a close second with 177.7250. Becker (175.5750), New London-Spicer (174.0500) and Perham (171.8500) rounded out the top five teams. They were followed by Worthington (171.8250), Big Lake (170.7250), Benson/KMS (167.3750), Byron (167.3000) and Mankato East (156.9250).
Avery McAllister had the top score on vault (9.8500) and on Floor (9.6250) to pace the Yellowjackets. Elise Reuter was runner-up on Beam with a score of 9.1500. Brittney Lorentz was fourth on Floor (9.5000) thirteenth on bars with a score of 8.6000.
McAllister’s All-Around score of 35.9500 was seventh among the 186 competitors and Lorentz was sixteenth with her score of 34.9750.
