Underwood fell behind 36-34 at the half in a non-conference road battle with Sebeka on Thursday night, but the Rockets battled back for a 68-63 victory.  Noah Link hit 7 3’s and finished with 23 points to lead Underwood.  Kaleb Hammes had 11 and Drew Evavold contributed 10 points. Evan Lundgren and Gavin Pausch rounded it out with 8 points each.

Pausch added 6 assists and 7 rebounds, Hammes had 5 assists and a pair of steals, and Evavold pulled down 7 rebounds for the Rockets.

“We didn’t contain well in the first half, and weren’t nearly physical and aggressive enough in our rebounding,” reported Underwood Head Coach Kellen Shebeck.  “We came out in the second half and improved in those areas.  We also shot the ball much better tonight and with more confidence, hitting 15 three’s in the game.”

Underwood (8-7, 7-5 LEC) has a home game Friday night against Border West.
