The Frazee girls’ basketball team went to Hawley for a Heart O’ Lakes Conference matchup on Tuesday night and the Hornets left with a 50-41 victory over the Nuggets. Izzy Steer and Ingrid Rustad led Hawley with 8 points each. Emma Brookshire and Emily Vettern added 7 and 6 points, respectively. No Frazee stats were reported.
Hawley (8-8, 2-6 HOL) will play another Heart O’ Lakes opponent when they travel to Perham on Friday to face the Yellowjackets.
Frazee (8-7) has a game at Henning on Friday and will host New York Mills on Saturday at one o’clock.
