The Perham Yellowjackets made 21 baskets in their 70-39 win over Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton on Thursday night and had 18 assists.  Many other great passes led to 24 free throw attempts for Perham.  “The Jackets shared the ball all night, often making two extra passes to get a wide open shot,” stated Head Coach TJ Super.  Perham built a 39-22 halftime advantage in the game and put the clamps down on defense in the second half, holding DGF to just 17 second half points.

Willow Thiel led the way with 24 points, 13 rebounds, 6 steals and 5 assists, including going 11-of-13 from the free throw line.  Cora Grismer added 16 points and played her usual stellar floor game.  Kaia Anderson knocked down four triples and put up 13 points.  Ryleigh Mickelson dished out 5 assists and came up with 3 steals on the night.

Perham (15-2) has now recorded 10 straight victories.  They will host Wadena-Deer creek on Tuesday night.

DGF (3-11) goes to Pelican Rapids for a Heart O’ Lakes Conference game against the Vikings on Tuesday.
