“This was a tough game against a very physical DGF squad,” commented Hawley Head Coach Nate Stoa. “We had a tough time getting to our spots on offense tonight, and as a results became too stagnant to make good things happen. Defensively, we were in a decent position, but didn’t finish possessions and gave up too many offensive boards.”
Brevin Stoa was the only Nugget to reach double figures, scoring 26 points.
DGF was led by Cayson Bergee with 11 and Brody Friend with 10.
The Rebels (3-5) stopped a five game losing streak with the win. They will travel to Breckenridge for another HOL contest on Friday night.
Hawley (5-5) saw their 3 game winning streak come to an end. They are off until next Thursday when they host the Crookston Pirates.
