Fergus Falls traveled to St. Cloud for a dual boys’ swimming and diving meet against Apollo. The Eagles came away with a tight 92-86 Central Lakes Conference victory. “The first away meet of the year is always a learning experience,” stated Fergus Falls Head Coach Randy Hansen. “Apollo is a team very similar to us so we knew that it was going to be close. We just came up a little short tonight. Matthew Tuel, Reece Hansen and the 400 free relay turned in some nice performances. We had several season best swims but we also looked like a team that has not had a meet in almost two weeks. Christmas break gives us a chance to do some quality training for a very busy January.”
The Otters next meet is January 4 when they host Alexandria.
