Fergus Falls shot 38% from the field and won the rebounding battle, 32-28. They also had 15 steals and 6 blocked shots. Sauk Rapids-Rice shot just 30% in the game.
Hattie Fullhart scored 17 points and pulled down 5 rebounds, Bella Anderson chipped in with 9 points and Julia Hajicek finished with 7 rebounds.
"I'm really happy with how the girls are playing defensively right now," stated Head Coach Josh Steer of the Otters. "The effort and energy has been great on that end of the floor. The rebounding effort was outstanding tonight. Still have to clean up the turnovers, but trending in the right direction."
Fergus Falls (3-2) will host Hawley on Saturday night.
