On Friday, the girls started off strong against Delano, winning by a score of 7-0. On Saturday, the Otters faced the hosting team Willmar and won 5-1. Later that afternoon, they saw the Riverblades out of St Cloud and came away with a 7-0 victory.

On Sunday the Otters again faced the Riverblades; this time winning 9-0. And finally in the Championship game, the Otters once again battled against the Willmar Cardinals. It was a close match throughout the game, but the Otters were able to pull away in the 3rd period and win with a final score of 5-3. The weekend gave the opportunity for many different Otters to celebrate season first points.
