Korf Reaches 1000 Career Points as Vikings Defeat DGF
Morgan Korf reached 1000 career points on Thursday night as the Pelican Rapids girls’ basketball team posted a 51-46 road victory over Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton. Korf ended the night with 21 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. The Vikings led 25-15 at the half and DGF outscored them 31-26 over the final 18 minutes.
Ellie Welch contributed a double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds. Anna Roisum added 10 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists. Claudia Gurath and Grace Backstrom secured 6 rebounds each.
The Vikings forced 18 turnover and had only 11 turnovers in the game.
Pelican Rapids will play a 1:30pm game in East Grand Forks on Saturday.
