The Brandon-Evansville girls’ basketball team held their Parents Night on Tuesday and the Chargers showed up in a big way, building a 42-16 halftime lead on the way to a 72-35 victory over the Parkers Prairie Panthers.  “We started off with a suffocating press and got off to an 18-0 lead,” reported Head Coach Stephen Schreiber.  “After a short lull to start the second half, the girls got going again and finished strong.”

Hadley Baune buried 5 3’s on the way to a game high 29 points to lead B-E.  Kylee Dingwall contributed 13 points and Mia Elmer was also in double figures with 11.

Johahna McKeown led Parkers Prairie with 9 points, followed by Alyssa Revering with 8 and Anna Helling with 7.

Brandon-Evansville (3-0, 1-0 LEC) will travel to Fergus Falls on Thursday for a Little Eight Conference matchup with Hillcrest Lutheran Academy.

Parkers Prairie (1-2, 0-1 LEC) plays at Battle Lake on Friday in another conference game.
