Brandon-Evansville won their boys’ basketball opener on Monday night, recording a 67-55 victory over Upsala. “We came out with great team defense to start the game,” commented Head Coach Trent Hintermeister of B-E. “Our defense was able to get our offense going and get out to a nice lead in the first half.”

Micah Fuller (21 points, 8 rebounds), Tanner Riedel (17 points, 6 rebounds) and Riley Perleberg (16 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists) all finished in double figures for the Chargers.  Dustin Gillespie added 7 points and 7 assists, and Carter White snared 6 rebounds, while dishing out 3 assists.  B-E shot 41% from the field and made 9-of-26 3's (34.5%).

“We had 9 players do a great job filling their roles on the court,” added Coach Hintermeister.  “Our bench teammates were fantastic with their positive engagement.  We look forward to a week of practice before our first conference game on Tuesday, December 12.”
