The Rothsay girls’ basketball team put 50 first half points on the board as they took a 50-37 lead into halftime on Friday night.  The Tigers went on to post a 79-57 win over Tri-State of North Dakota.  “We have a lot of work to do on our defensive rotations and it really showed tonight,” said Head Coach Anita Heier of Rothsay.

Leaders for Rothsay were Savannah Sullivan (31 points, 6 rebounds), McKenzie Tilman (12 points, 13 rebounds), Bethany Danielson (14 points, 5 rebounds) and Brooklyn Weiers (11 points, 2 rebounds).

“Our girls played hard and made up for our defensive shortcomings and made up for it on the offensive end of the floor, finishing well around the basket,” commented Coach Heier.  “This is a fun group of girls who are willing to work hard every day to get better.”
