Spartan Men Fall at NDSCS

North Dakota State College of Science hosted M State in a college men’s basketball contest on Wednesday night in Wahpeton.  NDSCS led 36-22 at the half and went on to defeat the Spartans by the score of 75-56.  The Wildcats made 52.6% (30-57) of their field goal attempts and held a 47-34 edge on the boards.

 

Aaron Williams Jr. led the Wildcats with 21 points and Ja’Quan Ingram added 14 points and 8 rebounds.  Calvin Sisk added 11 points, Detavius Frierson had 11 rebounds, and Peyton Newbern dished out 6 assists. 

Mason Muir led the Spartans with 23 points and Mikele Kambalo finished with 9 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists.  M State made just 33.8% (22-65) of their field goal attempts on the night.

The Spartans (3-2) entertain Minnesota North College – Hibbing at 7:30pm Friday and Minnesota North College – Rainy River at 3:00pm Saturday.
