“This was a hard-fought victory for our girls,” commented Wadena-Deer Creek Head Coach Jordan Cresap. “It wasn’t pretty and we got sloppy with the ball, but we kept digging in defensively to get big stops down the stretch. Payton Gravelle was relentless on the boards and carried us offensively throughout the game. There are numerous things to work on, but that’s the name of the game after the first game!”
