Losing senior Jessica Moberg (1000 points, 1000 rebounds) to graduation creates a big hole in the lineup for the Clinton-Graceville-Beardsley girls’ basketball team. Senior Grace Cardwell and junior Addison Ward are returning starters for the Wolverines. Cardwell, Emmy Anderson and Birkley Herberg will serve as team captains.
“We will have a handful of girls getting their first look at the varsity level, but we are very excited to see what this group can do,” commented Head Coach Torey Issendorf.
Juniors Chloe Cardwell (G), Macy Anderson (G) and Brianna DeNeui (F) are expected to earn extensive varsity playing time.
Tanner Teske and Brice Hoffman will assist Issendorf. Hancock, Underwood and Henning are his picks as favorites in Section 6A with Underwood and Hancock listed as top teams in the Little Eight Conference.
