The Underwood Rockets secured first place in the Little Eight Conference with a 3-0 (25-12, 25-13, 25-17) win over Clinton-Graceville-Beardsley on Thursday night in Graceville.  “Our goal was to work to clean up some of the unforced errors we have been making,” stated Head Coach Breck Grove of the Rockets.  “We started out a little shaky, but as the match progressed, I was happy with how our team played in a focused, controlled way.”

The Rockets had only 3 missed serves in the match.  They were led on the serving line by Mily Albjerg (23/23), Liz Lukken (14/14, 1 ace), Kallyn Grove (10/10, 1 ace), Brooklyn Christianson (9/9) and Ezrah Baker (10/11).

Attack leaders were Grove (9 kills, 1 solo block, 21 set assists), Christianson (7 kills), Lukken (5 kills, 1 block assist), Albjerg (5 kills, 3 solo blocks) and Baker (4 kills).

Defensively, Albjerg had 17 digs, Christianson and Sia Olson had 10 apiece and Lukken 8.
