The Breckenridge volleyball team battled through three competitive sets before recording a 3-0 (27-25, 25-19, 25-19) victory over Clinton-Graceville-Beardsley on Tuesday night. As a team, the Cowgirls served 95% (74/78) with 6 aces. Sydni Roberts and Kolle Schuler were both 15-for-16 on the line with Roberts serving up 4 aces and Schuler adding 1. Parker Yaggie was a perfect 11-for-11 with an ace and Katlyn Kaehler didn’t miss a serve in 13 attempts. Grace Nicholson was 9-for-9 and Hailee Hanson went 11-for-13.
Attack leaders were Kaehler with 14 kills and one block assist, Julia Kleisman (8 kills, 4 block assists), Erin Blaufuss (7 kill, 3 block assists), Hanson (6 kills) and Yaggie (4 kills, 3 block assists). Yaggie and Schuler contributed 20 and 17 set assists, respectively.
Dig leaders were Hanson (24), Kaehler (16), Roberts (15), Nicholson (9) and Yaggie (9).
Breckenridge now has a record of 16-4. They have a Heart O’ Lakes Conference match on Thursday in Hawley.
