The Rothsay volleyball team traveled to Moorhead on Tuesday night for a non-conference match against the Park Christian Falcons. The home team won the match in 3 sets, 25-17, 25-20, 25-21. “Park Christian runs a quick offense that we did a great job defending on and off the net, but we couldn't quite get our own offense going consistently,” said Rothsay Head Coach Tanya Kort.
The Tigers were led by Elli Meyer (13/14 serving, 1 ace, 5 digs, 23 set assists, 2 blocks), Gracyn Petersen (7/8 serving, 1 ace, 11 digs, 3 kills), Lisa Kjelgaard (6/6 serving, 17 digs), Bethany Danielson (6/7 serving, 1 ace, 9 digs, 6 kills, 1 block), Savannah Sullivan (11/13 serving, 4 digs, 8 kills, 2 blocks), McKenzie Tillman (8/9 serving, 8 digs, 5 kills), Lauren Reber (12/12 serving) and Brooklyn Weiers (4 kills, 2 blocks, 1 dig).
“We will keep grinding and get ready to face Hillcrest on Thursday for a special night honoring our seniors,” added Coach Kort.
