The Fergus Falls girls' soccer team traveled to Albany on Tuesday night and fell to the Huskies 3-1 in a non-conference match.  "Coaches thought Cierra Ochoa played a very solid game at defense," said Fergus Falls Head Coach Ben Jurgens.  "Julia Aguilar was strong in the midfield and Madi Budke provided more scoring chances tonight for our team than we have had thus far."

Albany scored 30 seconds into the game on a defensive turnover and Savanna Pelzer stuck the ball into the far corner of the net.  The Otters scored a minute-and-a-half later when Aubree Nelson worked the ball up the left side and slid the ball to the middle, hitting Madi Budke in stride as she broke free and tucked it into the corner.  Pelzer netted her second goal of the night just before halftime for a 2-1 Albany lead.

The final score of the game occurred in the second half with the shot coming from outside the 18.

Fergus Falls (5-7-2) plays at Alexandria on Thursday in a Central Lakes Conference match.
