West Central Area senior quarterback Brady Lindquist is the Olson Oil Company Athlete of the Week. Lindquist completed 12-of-15 passes for 209 yards and 6 touchdowns on Friday night as the Knights dominated their 60-0 victory over Long Prairie-Grey Eagle from start to finish.
The Knights had 517 total yards and featured a balanced attack, running for 268 yards to go along with their 249 passing yards.
Camden Anderson got in the end zone first, hauling in a 55 yard pass from Lindquist. Lindquist hit Adam Lohse with a 28 yard TD pass for the second score of the game and then connected on TD passes of 15 and 5 yards to Sam Hanson, making the score 28-0. A 47 yard strike to Hunter Gruchow and a third TD hook-up with Hanson, covering 21 yards, completed the aerial barrage by Lindquist and gave the Knights a 46-0 lead.
West Central Area improved to 2-1 on the season.
