The West Central Area Knights put the game away early on Friday night as they scored 28 first quarter points and added 24 more in the second quarter to open up a 52-0 halftime lead against Long Prairie-Eagle Valley and went on to record a 60-0 shutout victory.  The Knights had 517 total yards and a very balanced attack with 268 rushing yards and 249 through the air.  Defensively, the Knights allowed only 67 yards.

Camden Anderson got in the end zone first when he hauled in a 55 yard pass from Brady Lindquist.  A successful two-point conversion gave the Knights an 8-0 lead.  A 28 yard TD pass from Lindquist to Adam Lohse increased the lead to 14-0 and a pair of Lindquist to Sam Hanson touchdown passes covering 15 and 5 yards, along with another successful two-point play made the score 28-0.

A safety early in the second quarter put the score at 30-0 and Lindquist threw two more TD passes, one covering 47 yards to Hunter Gruchow and a third to Hanson, covering 21 yards.  Both two-point tires were good and the Knights led 46-0.  They added a one yard TD pass from Jackson Nadgwick to Ben Bye to complete the first half scoring with a 52-0 advantage.

A 17 yard run by Tyler Girard and another two-point conversion ended the scoring in the fourth quarter.
