The Otters fell behind when Rocori senior Brooklyn Hofer hit a perfect shot from outside the 18 on the far right side and tucked it in the back left hand corner of the net for a 1-0 halftime lead.

In the second half Rocori was granted a penalty kick and Hofer converted for a 2-0 lead.

The Otters came back with a goal to the lead in half as Madi Budke drove to the net and pounded a shot past the keeper. 

"Both teams had some really good chances toward the end of the game, but both keepers were up to the challenge," said Fergus Falls Head Coach Ben Jurgens.  "This is a tough loss.  Rocori has played well, but we feel we had more in the tank."
