M State traveled to Willmar for a MCAC Southern Division volleyball match against the Ridgewater Warriors. The lady Spartans prevailed in four sets (17-25, 25-15, 25-21, 25-17). Kaleigh Peterson had 6 of the 10 service aces recorded by M State and Cassie Dahl distributed 35 set assists on the night as the Spartans had 3 hitters with double digit kills.
Faith Marion led the attack with 10 kills, while Kaleigh Sip and Kendra Emery added 10 kills each. Ariana Noplos finished with 5 kills and Peterson contributed 4. Noplos and Sip each registered a solo block.
Defensively, Maddie Ballweg had a team high 24 digs and served up 3 aces. Madi Foss and Marion had 13 digs apiece and Emery came up with 10.
M State is now 4-7 overall and 4-2 in Conference play. They will participate in the NDSCS Tournament on Friday and Saturday.
