Crookston took a 1-0 lead 20 minutes into the match on a flick header off a free kick.  The Vikings tied the game 10 minutes into the second half when Abdirahman Khalif put a loose ball into the back of the net.  Minutes later, Khalif converted a penalty kick to put the Viking ahead, 2-1.  With 44 second left in the second half, Omar Odawa conceded a penalty and the Pirates converted, making the score 2-2 and that is where the match ended.
