Underwood defeated Wheaton/Herman-Norcross in a Little 8 Conference volleyball match on Tuesday, recording a 3-0 (25-9, 25-14, 25-22) sweep of the Warriors. “I am pleased with how our whole team played as a team, our bench brought great energy, and we were able to play a balanced game,” said Underwood Head Coach Breck Grove.
Kallyn Grove (8 kills, 3 blocks, 25 assists, 5 digs, 8/8 serving, 2 aces), Liz Lukken (7 kills, 9 digs, 12/13 serving, 1 ace), Brooklyn Christianson (3 kills, 3 blocks, 6 digs, 7/7 serves), Ezrah Baker (10 kills, 1 block, 8 digs, 16/18 serves, 1 ace) and Mily Albjerg (9 kills, 3 blocks, 12 digs, 19/20 serves, 4 aces) were the leaders on the court for the Rockets.
Underwood will host Rothsay in another LEC match on Thursday.
