Fergus Falls hosted St. Cloud Apollo on Tuesday night in a Central Lakes Conference volleyball match. The Otters were able to sweep the Eagles 3-0 (25-15, 25-12, 25-17). “It was a strong night for our team,” stated Head Coach Sabrina Noon. “We played with a lot of control and we were able to keep our focus throughout the match.”
Leading the way for the Otters were Macee Butler (11 digs, 3 aces), Karyssa Eberle (21 set assists), Brynn Sternberg (8 kills, 7 digs, 5 aces, 1 assisted block), Bella Anderson (7 kills, 1 assisted block), Grey Korinek (7 kills) and Rachel Debrito (6 kills). Kendal Hanson distributed 4 set assists.
“Our passing remained strong and our hitters were able to connect with our setter tonight,” noted Coach Noon. “It takes all three of those dynamics to come together and our girls did just that. Proud of our effort and focus in tonight’s match.”
Fergus Falls will entertain St. Cloud Tech in another CLC match on Thursday night.
